The Shadowasp is the prime Progenitor hover-capable support flyer. What it essentially is, is a hovering arsenal of weapons: the Shadowasp is heavily armed with an array of air-to-ground missiles and heavy dual rotary kinetic energy guns. The Shadowasp is essentially a flying tank; it can easily destroy enemy armor, infantry and fortifications, and its ability to skim the land and hide behind undulations or obstacles is perhaps better than any armor.
