The Tardiss is a multi-role support tank. Its roles can include anti-aircraft protection or ground support (Omni-Threat missiles), reconnaissance or aerial close air support (Zickel UCAV) and intelligence / electronic warfare (Multi-Spectral Sensor Array). Although definitely not intended to be at the thick of the fighting, its versatility and efficiency means that no Orbital Combine army is complete without an adequate assortment of Tardiss grav-tanks.
